Beauty is always in the eye of the viewer. A landscape can look differently in pictures of different artists. The same goes for place essays – the writer can focus on strong or weak sides of panorama. Choosing a topic for one’s paper, students are expected to choose resorts or popular historical places.
There is a plenty of material that can be used in these works, as these landscapes have been discussed many times. Still, some creative writers prefer to describe ordinary landscapes in their place essays.
Internet access allows students to make an imaginary voyage to any location in the world. If learners are not provided with a specific topic, place essays induce them to use their luxuriant fancy.
