5 paragraph essay is the most widely-used model for writing small compositions. To some extent, this is a kind of template, which should be filled. This article aims to discuss the elements of a 5 paragraph essay. The introductory part of 5 paragraph essay should contain the following points:

- Succinct summary of the paper,
- Background to the topic,
- Thesis statement.
The second component of a 5 paragraph essay is the main body that consists of three paragraphs. In this section you must present your arguments and examples. One should bear in mind that they come in the order of priority. In other words, you must put your best foot forward.
